Champagne Hebrart Special Club 2018 Magnum

Champagne Hebrart, also known as Champagne Marc Hebrart, is a well-regarded Champagne producer based in the town of Mareuil-sur-Aÿ (in the administrative commune of Aÿ-Champagne), just east of Épernay, in the Vallée de la Marne subregion.

The Champagne house was established in the early 1960s by the eponymous Marc Hebrart and the operation is now run by his son, Jean-Paul, who took over in 1997.

The house boasts a total holding of 16 hectares (39 acres) across 80 parcels divided more-or-less evenly between Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The former predominates in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, with other Pinot vineyards in Louvois, Aÿ and the Clos Le Léon in Dizy.

Hebrart's Chardonnay holdings span Oiry, Avize, Chouilly and Cramant.

A range of labels are produced, including a number of Grand and Premier Cru offerings. Wines are generally made in stainless steel tanks although since 2004, some portions are barrel-fermented and aged.
