The 2019 Courzy vintage by Nicolas Maillart is an exceptional cuvée, as it is made exclusively from Petit Meslier, a rare grape variety in Champagne. 

Petit Meslier is known for its freshness, tension, and aromatic richness. The grapes are sourced from the Premier Cru terroir of Villers Allerand, located at the foot of the Montagne de Reims. The wines underwent vinification and were aged in oak barrels for eight months.

This cuvée is remarkable and intense, showcasing a rich and complex nose. On the palate, it displays a tense, vibrant, and straightforward attack, which evolves in the mid-palate to reveal fruity and floral notes. The finish is fresh and slightly salty.
